I have begun work on my first project and have almost finished it. I have been using this tutorial which I have found very useful. My only issue I have ran into so far is that it does not explain the interaction very well. I have a door that opens when assisted. This means that it works exactly how it should except it currently needs a physics block to be the interaction middle ground. I am going to continue to use his tutorials for my other projects and he explains things really easily. I am now working on the interactions and making it work without the extra object and I'm going to also begin my second project alongside it. I may also put some texturing onto the door so that it is not just a blank block in front of the user.
